Zombie Prom 2009

We had an epic party this weekend at the ware-home. I set up a photo booth (it is prom after all). Here are some of my favorites from the evening.

Meaghan and Ian, Winter Park Wedding, Colorado

Meaghan and Ian were married at Snow Mountain Ranch, a few miles North from Winter Park. Meaghan is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with very easy going and she has a great sense of humor. Same with Ian…Ian also plays bagpipes in the Mile Highlanders a Denver bag pipe band. These guys were great to work with and were married outside on a beautiful fall afternoon in front of their two very large families.

Chantelle and Scott, Boulder, Colorado

Chantelle and Scott were married at Flagstaff amphitheatre in Boulder Friday, September 18, 2009.

Duane and Lauren, Snowmass, Colorado

I photographed this wedding with Gino Siller for Julie Harris in the middle of August in Snowmass Colorado. It was a small intimate wedding with friends and family at the top of Snowmass Mountain near Aspen.

Josh and Janna, Downtown Denver, Colorado

I photographed this wedding with Julie Harris at the beginning of August. Janna is Julies sister in-law it was great to hang out with Josh and Janna they were super easy going and fun to be around.

Brooke and Justin, Engagement Session, Cordillera

Brooke and Justin are from Frisco, Texas its just outside of Dallas. Brooke contacted me while I was in California about an engagement session. We went to a few spots in Cordillera and had a good time just hanging out talking about the football, their wedding in the Dominican Republic, and poker, among other random topics.

Aaron and Carla

I met Aaron several years ago when he came to visit Shane during graduation from the Art Institute of Colorado. And ever since then he has been vacation in Vail every winter. It is always fun when Aaron comes to visit because he is a ham! Then one year he brought Carla with him to Vail and well he was still ridiculous but this time he was in love. Aaron will do anything for Carla he truly cares for her. It was so fun to be able to travel to Pittsburgh with Shane Macomber and document Aaron and Carla’s special day.

Dee Dee and Brian

I photographed this wedding with my good friend Shane Macomber at the end of July, and I am so glad he asked me to help him out. You can read all about how Shane and them met on Shane’s blog here. Dee Dee and Brian are both super outgoing, mellow, creative people. They were married at Lazy J Ranch near in Wolcott, Colorado, just a few miles west from Vail. The wedding was beautiful and all of the guests showed up wearing hats. I was with Brian before the ceremony and he was so calm and relaxed it was such a smooth wedding. And for some reason Dee Dee could not stop smiling.

From the Weekend

I shot a wedding on Friday and Saturday this weekend, tomorrow I am headed to California road trip style I will still be doing some work because luckily I can work from anywhere all I need is my laptop and wireless connection. I made this photo on Friday and right now it is one of my favorites but maybe that is because it is 2 a.m. Stay tuned for photos from California and the road…
